Aiming at providing a vast contribution to the state of the art technology and knowledge while moving along the frontiers of knowledge and technology, the new major entitled "Nanoptronics" consisting three major scientific fields combined with four technological approaches; namely, Optonics, Quantronics and Nanotechnology has passed the approval process through the EE department and IUST board members. We are delighted to announce that the EE department will admit students for graduate studies in this field in the next year.
